ART HISTORY AND MUSEUMS :
I focused my studies on art history and local heritage. Museums are numerous in the area and are very important to understand the Provencal culture. More than a job strolling in the museums is a passion.
From ancient ruins to modern towers Provence is full of buildings with incredible richness and diversity. It reflects the long history of our beautiful region and people easily appreciate this local asset.
FASHION AND JEWELRIES :
A ramble through the streets of Marseille and Aix en Provence reveals the wonderful diversity of our local handcraft and design. Main cities in the region also have many shopping centers where visitors can find all French and international brands.
WINE AND FOOD :
Provence is at the crossroads of French and Mediterranean cuisines. A true delight for senses sometimes paired with a fine local wine and a typical dessert. As a gourmet, I really like to share my love for local gastronomy.
BOTANICAL AND GARDENS :
Provence is a true garden: Landscapes are extremely varied and change all around the year. Each season brings new colors and it's always a pleasure for me to discover, study and promote the Mediterranean vegetation.
HISTORY, HISTORICAL SITES AND MONUMENTS :
My interest for the fascinating history of my country and my region is undeniable. Teaching and sharing it is probably the best way to make any visit in Provence more interesting and enjoyable.
TRADITION AND LOCLA HISTORY :
Provence is a land of traditions with a long and rich history: many anecdotes and stories to discover and share. I also love folklore and tales of my region.
VINTAGE FURNITURE AND FLEAS MARKET :
Provence has a lot of antiquities markets (some very tiny, others huge such as L'Isle sur la Sorgue) and It's a good way to know the local design and handcraft.
MODERN ART :
Probably among my favorite hobbies: strolling in the French and world museums in search of new exhibitions is a way to discover many artists. Provence has a huge range of museums and art galleries to discover. Walking in the footsteps of writers and local artists is an activity that I appreciate particularly.
OFF THE BEATEN TRACKS LOCAL SITES :
Provence is dotted with numerous unknown but beautiful villages and Marseille has many little authentic and lively neighborhoods to explore off the tourist paths. I love to show them to my guests.
RELIGION, RELIGIOUS MONUMENTS :
Here again, the rich history of our region has left an imprint in the wonderful religious monuments from the Roman Mausoleums to the massive churches built in the 19th century. Furthermore, I like the spiritual tolerance that makes Provence an ideal place to live for all the nationalities and religions.
